4 HUGE Updates Arrive at Disney World's Boardwalk

Disney World is ALWAYS changing, but it sure seems to be changing a lot recently. It often feels like everything is under construction at times.

The EPCOT transformation is finally complete, but Magic Kingdom will soon be getting an expansion, while DinoLand, U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be getting a new theme. A lot of things are happening with Disney World’s hotels, too. Over at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, we recently spotted a TON of new updates and additions.

We recently took a lovely stroll on Disney’s BoardWalk and immediately noticed a new Mickey and Minnie topiary. It really gives the entire area a fresh look.

We also noticed that one facade of a building was finally complete with a “Crest o’ the Wave” theme that fits in with the overall classic Boardwalk vibe.

We also popped by the location for the upcoming The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. Now, we’ve been waiting for this restaurant that’s also a cafe and bakery to open FOREVER, but it looks like construction is making a lot of progress. We still don’t have an official opening timeline for the new restaurant, but we’re keeping an eye out for more details. The restaurant will be “an enchanting bakery offering delicious cakes, cookies, pies, macarons, coffee, croissants and more!”

We’ve also been anxiously awaiting an opening date for Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs (yes, just like the one at Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort). The construction walls have officially come down and we can now see the full kiosk. You’ll be able to indulge in those infamous corndogs here, including the viral Pickle Corn Dog.

As you can see, a lot is happening over at Disney’s Boardwalk, and at Disney World, in general. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates and let you know when we see them, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
