A New Donald Duck Souvenir Collection Was Just Released Online

Can you believe Donald Duck is 90 years old?!

Donald Duck is turning 90 on June 9th this year, and to commemorate the famously short-tempered, totally lovable Disney icon, Disney is honoring him throughout the month of June! We’ve seen his adorable popcorn bucket, and some new merchandise has already been released, but now we know all the details of what’s to come under the Donald Duck 90 campaign!

Recently, we were invited by Disney to attend a special Donald Duck 90th anniversary event at BoxLunch! There, we saw some great Donald Duck merch and we learned that Disney is working with tons of brands to bring even more great Donald Duck souvenirs our way!

In addition to BoxLunch, Disney is also collaborating with Adidas, ASOS, Citizen, Disney Store, Funko, Pandora, Baublebar, Hot Topic, Loungefly, and RSVLTS to celebrate Donald’s 90th birthday.

At the BoxLunch event in Sherman Oaks, California, we saw the Donald Duck Resort Mini Backpack, Donald Duck Women’s Smocked Romper, Men’s Button Front Woven Shirt, Donald Duck Ice Cream Coin Purse, and Disney Donald Duck Group Campfire Mini Backpack — BoxLunch Exclusive by Loungefly.

Some items have already been available, while others under different brands will be released periodically.

Liz Shortreed, Senior Vice President of Disney Global Softlines and Global Brand Strategy, promised unique Donald Duck products while praising the character.

“Donald Duck’s relatable and endearing frustrations with everyday life have made him one of the world’s most famous personalities, so we knew we had to make sure to celebrate him in a big way,” said Shortreed.
