Universal Orlando is gearing up to open its third theme park, Epic Universe, in 2025.

Ahead of its official opening date, though, Universal has been sharing a LOT of details about the five new lands the park will host, as well as details about its rides and restaurants. We’re particularly excited about How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Universal just recently gave us a sneak peek at two of the attractions in that land.
Universal recently shared a video to its stories on Instagram, and we spotted what could be the first official look at the real ride vehicles for two of the rides coming to Epic Universe’s How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk. First, we got a sneak peek at the edge of what we believe to be Dragon Racer’s Rally.

Dragon Racer’s Rally will let you practice aerobatic maneuvers and barrel rolls on dragon-riding training machines.

The ride will allow you to reach heights of up to 67 feet, and you can even control how wild the ride gets. Here’s a closer look at the seating on the ride.

The video also showed a sneak peek at the ride vehicles for Fyre Drill, a ride that will have you boarding a boat to compete in an “outscore and out-soak” battle. Riders can blast water cannons at flame-like targets, which could come in handy when dealing with dragons.

Here’s a peek at the concept art for comparison.

Finally, we saw the Universal engineering team in front of another structure. Could this be the exterior of Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, a family-friendly roller coaster, or something else?

How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk will also include a new show called The Untrainable Dragon which will feature characters like Hiccup, Toothless, Gobber, and Astrid. The show is expected to have life-size dragons, musical numbers, and more! There will also be a Hiccup and Toothless Meet and Greet.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for more sneak peeks at everything coming to Epic Universe, so check back with AllEars again soon for more!
