ALL Races SOLD OUT for 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Disney World hosts plenty of popular events — but runDisney races are definitely at the top of the list!

Folks come from all over to participate in these races, and that means they tend to fill up quickly. Registration for the 2025 runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend opened today, and we’ve got an important update you need to know.

The 2025 runDisney Marathon Weekend will be taking place from January 8th through the 12th, 2025. Throughout the weekend, there will be four races and a runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. In addition to the four races, there are also two challenges you can compete in.

General Registration kicked off on April 9th, 2024 at 10AM ET, and popular races quickly began selling out. Then, just a couple of hours later — ALL 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend races and challenges were SOLD OUT.

Unfortunately, if you haven’t already secured your spot and received a confirmation email that your registration went through, you won’t be able to participate in next year’s races. Luckily, there are lots of other runDisney races that will be coming up throughout 2025, so you can always try to register for one of those.

And, even if you’re not participating in the race — keeping your eye on the runDisney calendar so you know when to expect some more crowds than usual in the parks is never a bad idea!
