We’ve got some a surprise update straight from Disney Springs! Lately, we’ve seen a LOT of merchandise locations come and go in Disney Springs, but this time, we’re here to talk about another big addition coming soon!
Calling all Disney Vacation Club members! Disney just announced a NEW location is coming to Disney Springs soon. Let’s take a look!
We’ve got a BIG update! OK, so you know that Disney Springs Welcome Center, located (fittingly) in the center of Disney Springs? It’s currently the home of the Guest Relations Center. Well, that space is about to look a little different! Disney announced that a new Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center is opening in the heart of DisneySprings.Â
This new space will act as an “interactive portal to discover new vacation destinations with Disney Vacation Club,” which is fancy Disney language for the new place you can go to learn more about joining Disney Vacation Club.Â
But wait! We’ve got another big announcement to share. Disney revealed that later this spring, a NEW space is opening for Members and guests to gather. Disney called it, “a space on the second floor,” so it sounds like this space will live in the same Disney Springs Welcome Center building. The new area will be called “Gateway to Discovery” — we’ll keep our eyes out for signs!
Don’t forget that a new DVC lounge is on the way! Could a new DVC lounge take over the former Alex and Ani location? We’ll have to wait and see.

The “perks” given to DVC members are a joke.
My daughter is a huge fan of getting free drinks and snacks at the Imagination DVC lounge.. I know its not much, but on a hot day, its a great spot to cool off.
