We may not frequently go to Tokyo Disney, but maybe we need to in 2024!

Tokyo Disney Resort has two parks, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Each offers fun Disney magic on your vacation, but in 2024 there are going to be some pretty amazing events and celebrations going on! Let’s check them out.
10 events are coming to Tokyo Disneyland and/or Tokyo DisneySea in 2024 (and the very beginning of 2025). Some events are in celebration of new and exciting attractions while others are tributes to ride changes. Regardless, all of these events sound like tons of fun!
Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival
In December 2023, Disney announced that Tokyo DisneySea would be getting a brand new Food & Wine Festival!

The event will run from April 1st through June 30th, 2024. There will be specialty meals and menus all around each of the seaports. They’ll be themed to the cultures of each of the ports and around the world. It’s going to be a ful-“filling” event.
Dreaming of Fantasy Springs
Dreaming of Fantasy Springs is a special event that will take place before the grand opening of Fantasy Springs!

From April 9th through June 30th, everything in Tokyo DisneySea will be themed to the event, including a harbor greeting, decorations, merchandise, and menus! You can celebrate and get ready for the opening of Fantasy Springs (which sounds AMAZING).
Grand Opening of Fantasy Springs
Then, after you’ve been getting ready, the grand opening of Fantasy Springs officially happens on June 6th!

You can explore Rapunzel’s Forest, Peter Pan’s Neverland, and Frozen Kingdom throughout this new seaport. New rides, restaurants, shops, and more are coming this summer to Tokyo DisneySea!
“Disney Pal-Palooza” Second Event
The first Disney Pal-Palooza event kicked off on January 10th with Minnie’s Funderland! Now, from April 9th through June 30th, you can experience the second event in this new series.

The second event will feature a new Disney character and bring lots of fun and smiles to the park! No more info has been announced, so we’ll be waiting for more details.
“Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition!”
Space Mountain in Tokyo Disneyland will be closing for a lengthy remodel starting at the end of the day on July 31st. So Disney has created a special event, Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition, from April 9th through July 31st so you can get your last ride done.

The ride will be completely re-imagined from its closing date until 2027, so be sure to catch a last ride before it’s changed forever!
Summer Program at Tokyo Disneyland / Tokyo DisneySea
The summer program will return to the two parks from July 2nd through Sept 18th. The event will bring the Baymax’s Mission: Cool Down parade back and you can jump aboard Splash Mountain — ‘Get Soaked MAX.’

And if you visit Toontown, you can hang out in the transformed version — “Get Soaked” Toontown! Tokyo Disney will keep things cool this summer.
New Nighttime Spectacular at Tokyo Disneyland
A currently nameless new show will be debuting in Tokyo Disneyland starting on September 20th!

The show will be projected onto Cinderella Castle and will include pyrotechnics and special effects. Disney music and beautiful images will light up the sky! We’ll be keeping an eye out for the name to be announced.
Disney Halloween
Celebrating Halloween at Tokyo Disney isn’t new, but this year an all-new theme and entertainment will arrive at Tokyo Disneyland!

Maybe we’ll need to celebrate the spooky season around the lands and sea ports at Tokyo Disney this year! The event will run from October 1st through November 7th.
Disney Christmas
Starting the very next day, on November 8th, you can begin your Christmas celebrations at Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea!

Characters in holiday outfits, parades, snacks, and more will most likely be offered at this seasonal event from November 8th through December 25th.
New Year’s Special Event at Tokyo Disneyland / Tokyo DisneySea
Last, but not least, Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea will have a special event to ring in the New Year!

The event will run from January 1st through January 13th, 2025, and bring you characters in fun New Year’s outfits, special merchandise, and delicious food. It’ll be a grand time celebrating the new year!
Whew, that’s A LOT going on at Tokyo Disney this year! We can’t wait to experience it all. Fantasy Springs is going to be a huge milestone for the international park.
