There are many ways to show your love of Disney!

Whether you are constantly buying collectibles or an Annual Passholder who visits the parks all of the time, there’s something for every Disney fan. That includes video games and we just got some updates on one of the newest games, Disney Dreamlight Valley!
On Wednesday, November 1st, Disney Dreamlight Valley held its first-ever showcase presentation as it moves into a global launch phase. This comes after the news that Gameloft announced there would be pricing tiers and an additional cost for the game’s first expansion.
Let’s get into the updates released by Nintendo. First of all, the new Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition will debut on December 5th, which is also the first day that the game leaves early access and launches globally. It will include the base game and “A Rift in Time” expansion.

That expansion will take you to a new location called Eternity Isle with Jafar as the new antagonist. It now costs $29.99 and will roll out in three parts — new storylines will become available in spring 2024 and next summer if purchased at the time of the launch.
The expansion was the main point of the showcase, however, they also revealed some new characters! Jack Skellington will be available as of December 5th, Mike Waszowski and Sulley will be available in winter 2024 in a Monsters Inc. realm, and Tiana is coming in the following summer.

Additionally, the multiplayer feature is finally coming on December 5th. You’ll be able to visit other player’s valleys, exchange items, and shop in each of their stores.
But wait — there’s more! The expansion also has three new biomes and characters. You’ll find Eve from WALL-E in Ancient’s Landing (which will look like you’ve entered the world of Atlantis: The Lost Empire), Gaston from Beauty and the Beast in The Glittering Dunes, and Rapunzel from Tangled in The Wild Tangle.
