Who doesn’t love when airports make travel more convenient?

We’re flying away!

At AllEars, we’re always on the lookout for airport and airline changes as it pertains to travel to and from Orlando. After all, we’re all about helping you have safe and happy travels. Fortunately, we’ve found ANOTHER boon to help you on your journey if you’re traveling to and from the UK!

Per Time Out London, London Heathrow Airport has launched a trial service called “Timeslot” which allows passengers to skip the security line for free. The service allows passengers to book security gate time slots in advance to skip security lines and makes the security process smoother overall by shortening lines. While the service is currently free, at the moment, it’s limited to only Terminal 3 for passengers flying on American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Emirates, and Virgin Atlantic Airways.

Earlier this year, Orlando International Airport (MCO) introduced a similar service called MCO Reserve. This service is also free and allows passengers to pre-register for a time slot to go through security, which gives them access to the MCO Reserve line. MCO Reserve can be accessible for eligible flights between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

If you’re flying to and from MCO for your next vacation, whether it be domestically in the United States or out of the country, these services are definitely something you should be aware of during the planning process.
