Disney is full of delicious restaurants, but one of the best ways to have a great dining experience is to check out one of its many lounges.

These dining locations have a bit more of a laid-back atmosphere, but with some of the best food. Recently, three of Disney World’s lounge-style restaurants added some fun new items to their menus, so we decided to check them out. Come see what we thought!
Geyser Point Bar and Grill
Over at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Geyser Point Bar and Grill is a beautiful open-air spot on Bay Lake, themed to the Pacific Northwest.

We ordered the new Crispy “Peking” Ribs, Charcuterie Flatbread, and Macaroni and “Cheese” Bites.

The Crispy “Peking” Ribs are bone-in ribs tossed in Peking sauce with cashews and cost $17. These had a ton of flavor.

The sauce was thick and rich, heavily peanutty, and SO spicy. They also had a touch of sweetness that was really liked.

While the flavor of these ribs was great, keep in mind these are crispy ribs, so they won’t fall off of the bone. They were a little bit tough, but we still enjoyed them — we just wish they were a bit more tender.

Next, we had the Charcuterie Flatbread for $17, which is topped with salami, brisket, chorizo, bacon, and smoked gouda beer cheese.

This was our favorite new thing we had here — the variety of meat made this a super savory, rather filling meal, but the veggies on top brightened it up. With all of the arugula, this didn’t feel too heavy and we loved the acidity from the shallots.

The smoked gouda beer cheese was also creamy and a bit decadent, and paired with the sweet balsamic glaze — we really loved this!

Last, we had the Macaroni and “Cheese” Bites for $11. These are plant-based “cheese” bites served with tomato and peppers.

These surprised us! The textures were amazing — the exterior was crispy and perfectly fried golden brown.

On the inside, the macaroni and cheese was incredibly creamy, and the pasta was soft but not mushy. We liked the tangy tomato and peppers that complimented the heavier elements, and overall we thought these tasted good — but the “cheese” didn’t exactly fool us.

If you’re looking for something plant-based, this is a great option! Even if you aren’t vegan, we still think this is worth a try, as long as you don’t go into it thinking it will taste just like cheese.

Three Bridges Bar and Grill
At Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Three Bridges Bar and Grill is another lounge-style restaurant along the water with a great atmosphere.

They debuted quite a few new items recently! On the drink menu, we tried the new Cold Brew Old Fashioned and Tropical Coconut Cooler.

First, the Cold Brew Old Fashioned combines SelvaRey Chocolate Rum, Tia Maria Coffee Liqueur, Joffrey’s Mexican Femenino Cold Brew, and Hella Cocktail Co. Orange Bitters. We ordered this for $16.

We thought this was good, but true Old Fashioned lovers might be disappointed — it’s a loose interpretation of one! It’s quite smooth and fairly sweet due to the chocolate rum, so it tasted almost like a dessert. Chocolate was the most prominent flavor with a hint of coffee!
The Tropical Coconut Cooler is a blend of coconut, orange, pineapple, and lime juices with a salt rim for $5.99.

This non-alcoholic option was fruity and creamy, and heavily coconutty. We thought this was very refreshing!
For food, we ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Bao Buns, Pork Carnitas Tacos, Three Bridges Signature Burger, and the Warm Churros.

The Korean Fried Chicken Bao Buns are paired with lime mayo, sweet-and-spicy gochujang sauce, ‘kimchi’ pickles, and radish for $14.

These were tasty and fun, with a sweet and spicy sauce that paired so well with the crispy chicken. The texture of the bao buns was spongy and soft, which we liked, but overall thought that this was a bit overpriced since you only get two.
We got the Pork Carnitas Tacos, which are served with a trio of sauces – chipotle-pineapple salsa, tomatillo salsa verde, and salsa borracha – along with cotija cheese and pickled vegetables served with black beans and rice, for $21.

While these are fun for people who like a choose-your-own-adventure, we thought they were a bit tedious. With so many toppings to choose from, we would have preferred these to have already been assembled. The flavors were all really great though! The tortillas tasted like they were made fresh and the pork was packed with flavor.

The Three Bridges Signature Burger, which is topped with topped with bacon marmalade, sun-dried tomato jam, smoked gouda queso, crispy vegetables, and arugula served with smoked paprika fries, costs $22.

If you are a fan of artisan burgers, this one is for you. The two jams worked really well together, so the burger was very flavorful and juicy. We also thought the seasoned fries were some of the best we’ve had in Disney World!

Lastly, the Warm Churros feature three new dipping sauces: tequila caramel, spiced chocolate, and mango-chamoy.

These churros are so soft and delicious, with a nice crispy exterior — possibly our favorite churros in Disney World!

Our favorite sauce was the spiced chocolate, which was smooth with hints of cinnamon. The tequila caramel, which has Patron in it, does taste like tequila, but it’s not too strong. The mango-chamoy was fruity but only slightly, and very tangy.

This was our favorite thing on the new menu!

Banana Cabana
At Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Banana Cabana also has some new menu items! We tried the Banana Cabana Burger, Guava Buffalo Grilled Wings, and Seafood Fritters.

The Banana Cabana Burger — which features Caribbean barbecue, tomatillo-jalapeño cream cheese, and pineapple salsa with plantain crunch — is served with french fries and costs $19.

This burger was fine, but it really didn’t scream “Caribbean” to us. We would have loved a lot more tropical flavors! The pineapple salsa was prevalent and tasty, but overall we were not super impressed with this one.

We also ordered the Guava Buffalo Grilled Wings for $15. These feature two new sauce flavors – Rum Barbecue and Guava Buffalo.

These were delicious! We thought they had a ton of flavor, but they were spicy! The guava glaze that they are coated in is sweet and flavorful, and we couldn’t get enough, and the chicken was tender and juicy.

Lastly, we tried the new Seafood Fritters for $14. These are made with shrimp, crab, and fish and are served with passion fruit aioli.

These were soft and easy to eat, but there was a bit of that slippery seafood texture to them, so keep that in mind if strong seafood elements aren’t your jam! The aioli also tasted more like ranch aioli to us, with not much passion fruit flavor.
