Disney Shares SNEAK PEEK at the New Mural for Tiana's Bayou Adventure!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is taking shape, and the details that Disney Imagineers are putting into this new attraction at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park are getting everyone excited!

With each new update and sneak peek that Disney is unveiling for the hugely anticipated Princess and the Frog-themed ride, we are getting more and more excited!

Disney has revealed a first look at a new mural that will highlight Tiana’s creation of Tiana’s Foods with a collage of scenes displayed on the building’s exterior walls as you enter the ride’s interior queue. We saw a glimpse of it at Magic Kingdom, but Disney shared some photos the mural!

Walt Disney Imagineering has partnered with a Louisiana artist, Malaika Favorite, to create a beautiful mural to decorate part of the queue of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Malaika Favorite is an accomplished Louisiana artist, and she has taken inspiration from murals and other works of art that can be found on building exteriors throughout New Orleans, Louisiana.

Malaika’s art can currently be found at the Baton Rouge Gallery, so it is no surprise that Malaika was the perfect choice as a partner to bring the story of Tiana’s professional journey to life in the form of art.

Bringing the authenticity of New Orleans along with details of The Princess and the Frog is what Imagineers are aiming for with the details inside the ride out to the queue.

The details of the mural by Malaika will reflect family, food, friends, and music, which were all very important to Tiana’s father and are what brings everyone together.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is continuing to take shape, and new details are emerging! We are all eagerly awaiting new updates, design elements, and storyline details, along with the 2024 opening timeline.
