Disney Annual Passholders get several perks.
These can include exclusive magnets, passholder previews of new attractions, or exclusive merchandise. For a few days in the year, you can also have access to the Annual Passholder Merchandise Event.
The Annual Passholder Merchandise Event is an exclusive event for Annual Passholders to get access to TONS of merchandise items. This year it is being held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on September 20th through September 23rd from 10AM to 7PM daily.
At the Merchandise Event, you can get early access to certain items like new trading pins and Pandora charms. You can also get a HUGE discount off many items including 50th Anniversary merchandise, Loungefly items, and Dooney & Bourke items! There’s also special Annual Passholder merchandise available. It’s a huge area filled with merchandise for you to go through.
They also have fun photo ops set up for you to enjoy. This year they have a retro Mickey Mouse painting scene.
They also have an old-school Mickey Mouse cabin scene, complete with plants and a car!
And of course, you can get your photo to show off your Passholder status!
It’s pretty easy to get access to this event. There is a virtual queue that you can join without having to be on Disney World property. It opens at 8AM for the morning you plan to shop. Then when your group’s time pops up, you have a two-hour window to be there. The event ends at 7PM so be sure you give yourself plenty of time!
Once you’re all ready to check out you can use their mobile checkout feature on your phone. Signs are available to help guide you through it.
