OPENING DATE Revealed for Tiana's Palace Restaurant Coming to Disneyland

Look alive, Princess and the Frog fans! We’ve got BIG news today!

Recently, we found out that the Princess and the Frog retheme of Splash Mountain in Disneyland would be accompanied by a new restaurant. Tiana’s Palace will be a quick-service restaurant reimagined from the French Market Restaurant in New Orleans Square. We had previously learned that it was scheduled to open sometime this year, but as of today — it officially has an opening date!

According to Disney’s website, Tiana’s Palace will be opening on September 7th, 2023. Mark your calendars, folks!

Disney has shared that this new restaurant will feature “peach-colored walls and fancy green wrought-iron balconies” where “you’ll find elegant fixtures and appointments reminiscent of Tiana’s life and friendships.” This sound like it will fit in nicely with the current theming in New Orleans Square currently, and we’re excited to see how it turns out!

And, folks “can enjoy new menu items that represent Tiana’s story and honor the flavors and flair of New Orleans, with an effort to source some ingredients directly from the state of Louisiana when possible” at the new restaurant too. Plus, you’ll “be surrounded by the colors of Mardi Gras as you sit at yellow tabletops, on warm vanilla-colored chairs with green seats, in the shade of yellow and green umbrellas.”
