Why We're Telling You to Stay at One of Disney World’s WORST Hotels

We totally understand that choosing where to stay in Disney World is very difficult.

We’ve stayed at literally EVERY single hotel in Disney World and have ranked them to make planning your vacation easier. Disney’s All Star Resorts are Disney’s cheapest options and are notoriously some of the worst as well, but here’s why you SHOULD stay at one of these resorts!

There are three All-Star Resorts, and if we had to suggest one to you, it would be All-Star Music. Quincy stayed at this resort and gave us all a full tour, which you can watch right here:

Let’s get the negatives out of the way first — this hotel has some of the worst transportation options on property. The buses or rideshares are your only options to get to the parks, and they’re some of the furthest away from all four theme parks as well.

And yes, it’s a value resort, so it’s not nearly as nice as other resorts. It doesn’t have the same amenities as others, and it’s really a resort that we just recommend staying at if you just want a place to eat and sleep.

However, you WILL want to stay here if you’re on a budget because the family suites at these hotels are significantly less than others. It’s a great way to stay on property, immersed in the Disney magic, for the least amount of money possible.

Master Bedroom Family Suite

Now don’t get us wrong, it’s still Disney prices, but family suites at this resort will cost you an average of $392 per night (depending on the season), whereas family suites at Art of Animation (another value resort) cost an average of $552-$586 a night.

For that price, staying on Disney property might be worth it, even if it means you have fewer amenities and travel options to the parks. It’s important to weigh your options when you’re planning where to stay in Disney World — what’s best for one family may not be best for yours, and that’s okay!
