Target Is About to Give You a FastPass to Starbucks

Oh look, there’s ANOTHER reason to visit Target soon. ?

There are plenty of things that people love to grab from Target, including new Disney goodies. But if part of your Target run usually involves a stop at your Target’s Starbucks store (where available) then we’ve got GOOD NEWS.

According to a Target press release, guests will soon be able to order their favorite Starbucks drinks and snacks and get them delivered curbside right along with the rest of their Drive Up Target order — no need to get out of your car at all.

The service — called Drive Up with Starbucks — is set to roll out to Target stores by early October. There will be both a Starbucks Cafe and Drive Up service.

Here’s how to get your Starbucks order delivered to you curbside:

1. Place a Drive Up order at a participating Target store
2. Once you receive a notification saying it’s ready, indicate that you’re “en route” via the Target app
3. Then, you should get a prompt to place an order from the Starbucks menu
4. Make your Starbucks selections, hit “Add for Drive Up,” and pay for the order
5. Once you finish the Drive Up check-in process and indicate “I’m on my way,” a Starbucks barista will start preparing the order
6. Park in the designated Drive Up parking area
7. Tap “I’m here” in the Target app
8. A team member from Target will then deliver your Starbucks order along with your Drive Up purchase to your car

Drive Up with Starbucks is rolling out to stores throughout the U.S. in the summer and early fall. It’s already available in the following states:

• Idaho
• Indiana
• Iowa
• Kansas
• Kentucky*
• Michigan
• Minnesota
• Missouri*
• Montana
• Nebraska
• New Jersey*
• North Dakota
• Ohio
• Oklahoma
• Pennsylvania*
• South Dakota
• Texas*
• Utah*
• Washington*
• West Virginia*
• Wisconsin

So if you’re already a fan of the Drive Up service and want to combine that with your favorite Starbucks order, it looks like you’ll be in luck! Be sure to check whether the service is already available near you or check for updates in the coming months as it more fully rolls out.
