Wilderness Lodge is a fan-favorite Disney resort for those wanting to feel the magic of Disney World while also feeling like they stumbled into a cabin hideaway deep in the… well, the wilderness.
While there are plenty of activities scheduled daily that are showcased in the lobby and pool areas, there’s a hidden-gem activity that a lot of visitors forget about! If you love Disney history and design, we think you might really enjoy this activity.
Each day at 9AM, Wilderness Lodge hosts the Wonders of the Lodge Art and Architecture Tour, which is an hour-long guided tour that takes you across the resort.
If you’re hoping to participate, you’ll meet the guide and other participants in the Wilderness Lodge lobby, near the fireplace. From there, you’ll take a waking tour of the resort and learn all about the architecture and the theming of Wilderness Lodge!
You’ll encounter art, architecture, craftsmanship, and of course — how each of those things interacts with wilderness and the nature surrounding the area.
This could be a great way to learn more about a fan-favorite resort, and might even up your Disney trivia game!
