We’ve stayed in EVERY Disney World hotel, and there are pros and cons to all of them.

While some of the best Disney hotels and their perks are well known, there are a few that we think are seriously underrated. Today, we’re going to talk about two hotels at Disney World that we think don’t get enough hype, and then we’re going to talk about how you might even be able to stay there at a fraction of the cost!
Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin hotels are ones that seemingly everyone knows exist —Â but when it comes to the perks of staying there — it’s an “if you know, you know” situation.

First, let’s talk about what these hotels are. The hotels are technically Mariott Bonvoy hotels, which means that if you’re a Mariott-Bonvoy member, the hotel stays count toward your points, and you can use your points to stay here. The hotel is run in partnership with Mariott Bonvoy and Disney, so it still has a luxurious feel both in the lobby and in the rooms themselves. There’s even a Disney store in the lobby!

Now, let’s talk location. Disney’s Boardwalk, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios are all VERY close by. While the Swan and Dolphin each have their own transportation to the parks, the Boardwalk bus stop is within walkable distance so that you can catch those buses as well.

Food? No problem! Since the boardwalk is so close, you can enjoy the Boardwalk restaurants, but there are also a few quick-service and table-service restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin as well.Â

Now, how about those discounts? Disney World Annual Passholders and Florida residents can now stay at Swan and Dolphin this summer for up to 30% off room rates.

Annual Passholders can save up to 30% off of regular room rates. To book your stay, you can call the resort at 1-888-828-8850 and ask for the promotional code ANNUAL PASSHOLDER RATE or you can book your stay online. If you book online, make sure Promotional Code QWH appears in the Corporate/Promo code box. You will have to show a valid/current Disney Annual Pass at check-in to receive the offer. Although the website says to act now, Â no specific date was given.

Florida Residents can book the same way, with the code FLORIDA RESIDENT RATEÂ via phone, and if you book online, make sure Promotional Code FR6 appears in the Corporate/Promo code box. You will have to show a valid Florida Resident ID at check-in to receive the discount.
