Disney has recreated several iconic films into live-action adaptations including stories like Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp, Aladdin, and more. And while we wait for more information on the upcoming Moana remake, we’re getting news about the live-action Lilo & Stitch!
Remember David from the animated Lilo & Stitch? Nani’s love interest and a friend to Lilo? Well, Kaipot Dudoit is set to take on the role according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Also, Deadline reported that the movie has found the actor to play Cobra Bubbles — it’s Emmy and Tony-award winner Courtney B. Vance!
The new movie recently found its Lilo, Zach Galifianakis is set to play Jumba, and more actors were recently announced for the film.
There are several other live-action films coming soon including The Little Mermaid which hits theaters this May, Peter Pan and Wendy which will be available on Disney+ later this month, and a new live-action Aristocats is in the works.
