If you’ve been on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Hollywood Studios then you already know that the attraction is filled with vibrant and cartoonish visuals that make you feel like you’re really inside a cartoon.

Each Disney attraction has its own special outfits that the Cast Members who work there wear, be that the explorer getup for the Jungle Cruise or the iconic bellhop uniforms at the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Disney has now revealed what we can expect from the Cast Member costumes at Disneyland’s version of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction! The Costume Design and Development team is responsible for these innovative costumes that are made up of intriguing textures and bright colors. We can totally see these fitting right in with the art style of Runaway Railway.

These costumes also have hidden Mickeys and other elements that connect to the attraction. The best part? They’re reversible! The Costume Design and Development team refers to these costumes as “trainsformable” (get it?? cause the ride centers around a train!). Their design allows Cast Members to alter their look and adapt to scenes within the attraction “at a moment’s notice.”
The Cast Members seem to appreciate the thought that went into the design, with one saying, “I think that the nature of the attraction, where it’s moving from one environment into the next, is mirrored in the costume…It allows for the guests to feel transported by seeing a completely different look.”
