NEWS: Dining Cancelation Policy CHANGES in Disneyland

It’s been a pretty big week for Disney park announcements.

The holidays are at Disneyland!

Disney World recently announced the introduction of surge pricing on its park tickets, Annual Passes are getting a price increase, and the official Disney World dining cancelation policy has been updated. But in Disneyland, all has been quiet for the most part (other than Magic Key Passes going back on sale!) — until now. Disneyland has CHANGED its dining cancelation policy and we’ve got all the details.

Disneyland has updated its dining cancelation policy to be more in line with the recent changes to Disney World dining.

Previously, guests had up to 24 hours to cancel a dining reservation without risking being charged, but that has now been updated. Guests now have until 2 hours prior to reservation time to cancel their booking without being charged a cancelation fee.

This change will no doubt offer more flexibility when it comes to how you handle dining reservations in Disneyland as last-minute reservations might be more likely to pop up, though it could make those popular restaurants a bit harder to get into if guests hold onto “back-up” reservations until the last minute.

Now you have more dining flexibility!

If you’re heading to Disneyland soon, keep these new changes in mind when making your dining reservations. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates and changes from Disneyland Resort!
