Ever since the pandemic, many special offerings have been missing from Disney World, but now they’re slowly returning.
We’ve seen character meals and backstage tours return, as well as things like buffets, meet and greets, and even some streetmosphere performers in the parks. But soon, a special activity is returning to Disney Springs, and we got to check it out!
Amorette’s Patisserie invited us to stop by and check out their cake decorating classes, which will be returning soon to the Disney Springs store! There’s no official return date yet, but we were told it’ll be later in November. (We’ll make sure to update you as soon as an official announcement is made!)
If you’re interested in taking one of these classes, you’ll soon be able to book online. The class is $199 per table, with a maximum of two guests per table.
Each table gets one cake, as well as all the supplies you need to decorate it. You can add an additional cake at your table for $50. While you’re decorating, the two guests also get unlimited beverages!
The class is available for guests ages 5 and up, and it was a blast. By the end, we had an adorably decorated Mickey Mouse cake!
Once the decorating is complete, you can take your Mickey dome cake home with you. We’ll definitely be enjoying this later!
And guests will also get an exclusive Mickey Dome Cake pin to add to their collections. How fun!
If you’re looking for a fun activity that doesn’t require a park ticket, we highly recommend this option. We’ll be on the lookout for an official return announcement from Amorette’s, and we’ll share all the details as soon as we get them.

My mom and I did the cake decorating class in May of 2019 and we had so much fun! We are going to Disney again in 2 weeks so I am closely watching to see if this class will be available while we are there. Crossing our fingers!
