NEWS: Opening Timeline for Brand New SeaWorld Orlando Ride — Pipeline: The Surf Coaster

While we may be looking forward to new attractions opening at Disney World like the TRON coaster or the new Moana-themed attraction, there are other theme parks in Orlando opening new rides soon!

Earlier this year, SeaWorld Orlando opened a brand new Ice Breaker Coaster that was made for thrill-seekers. Now, SeaWorld is doing something else brand new with the upcoming ride called Pipeline: The Surf Coaster!

According to SeaWorld, the new coaster will open in the park sometime in spring of 2023. The ride has a unique surfboard ride vehicle and will give riders an immersive experience when the seats move to mimic the feeling of riding a real wave. Sounds pretty cool!

Riders will be in a standing position on the coaster as they go upside down and at a maximum speed of 60 miles per hour. The height requirement is currently projected to be 54 inches and this coaster is a first-of-its-kind!

The TRON coaster over at Magic Kingdom is also set to open sometime in spring of 2023, so there will be 2 brand new coasters to check out in the Orlando area!

We’ll keep an eye out for an exact opening date, so stay tuned to AllEars for more information.
