How YOU Could Hop on a TRON Ride Vehicle Before the Attraction Opens in Disney World

We’ve been watching the TRON construction in Magic Kingdom for a long time now, and there have been some pretty big updates lately!

TRON Construction

The construction has shut down a nearby Tomorrowland store, impacted the Walt Disney World Railroad, and made our trips on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover much more eventful. But now we’ve got an update on just how you could sit on a TRON Lightcycle Run vehicle before the ride even opens!

D23 has shared a sneak peek of some of the special booths you’ll find at the D23 Expo this year. The Expo takes place from September 9th-11th in Anaheim and will feature all kinds of panels and booths for fans to check out.

Want to take a seat in a TRON Lightcycle Run vehicle? You can at the Enterprise area at the D23 Expo! Enterprise is actually the sponsor of the new ride in Magic Kingdom and you’ll actually get to hop aboard a Lightcycle at the Enterprise booth to take a unique photo.

There was actually a time when a TRON display with ride vehicles was in Magic Kingdom, but that has since been removed.

Want to learn about other D23 Expo booths?

At the Visa booth — which is called “Start Small Dream BIG” you can go on a journey to the 1920s, where you’ll get to explore the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio. You can also visit the Amazon booth, where you’ll be able to check out Amazon’s new Glow device, take some photos, and explore some of the new Amazon-exclusive items from Loungefly and Funko.
