More Details Shared About One of Disney's BIGGEST Events

The 2022 D23 Expo is just around the corner!

The Expo is completely sold out, but guests who snagged a ticket are certainly in for a treat. Marvel panels have been announced, and there will be plenty of immersive experiences at this year’s Expo as well. Don’t finalize your D23 plans just yet though, because 4 new presentations have just been added to the lineup!

D23 has announced some special presentations that’ll be available during the Expo this year! The first of the presentations is happening on Friday, September 9th from 6-7:30 PM on the Premiere Stage. D23 Expo Mousequerade, a costume contest, will be hosted by Nina West and will feature Yvette Nicole Brown, Ashley Eckstein, and Ally Maki as they judge fans’ costumes worn to the event.

There will be new categories this year, including Off the Screen, Imagine That, Magical Mashups, and Cast of Characters, along with a fan-favorite award voted on by the audience. We already knew that the costume contest would be coming back this year but now we know just where and when it’ll take place, so mark those calendars!

Next, we have the D23 Disney Stars Trivia Showdown, which will take place on Saturday, September 10th at 6 PM, and Sunday, September 11th at 5 PM on the D23 Expo Live Stage. During this event, you can join Nina West as she guides celebrity contestants and D23 Expo guests through Disney trivia.

Back to the Grid: 40 Years of TRON presented by Enterprise is a look back at the artwork, footage, and photographs from the digital frontier. Guests at this panel will also be able to listen to behind-the-scenes stories about how the film came to be. Catch it at 12 PM on September 11th at the Backlot Stage.

Lastly, Conversations with Disney Character Voices will be held at the Premiere Stage on Sunday, September 11th from 6-7 PM. During this event, you’ll be able to join Rick Dempsey, Senior Vice President of Character Voices, and some very special guests as they go “behind the mic” of some stories and conversations with Disney favorites.
