Check Out Disney’s Newly Reopened Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage!

We had a swimmingly (pun intended) good time in Disneyland today. Can you guess why?

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage

There’s a ton going on around Disneyland Resort right now — the Red Car Trolley has returned, Matterhorn Bobsleds are about to get some TLC, and Pirates of the Caribbean has reopened following its own refurb. And today, we celebrated our first ride on the refurbished Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage attraction!

Over in Tomorrowland, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage has been receiving quite the facelift! Repainting, coral, kelp, seaweed — so much was added to spruce up this ride. Let’s take a look!

Let’s go!

For anyone who hasn’t been on the attraction, you’ll board a submarine that takes you through the story of Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo. You’ll explore the big, blue world and meet some friends along the way!

We’re underwater!

The attraction had a 50 minute wait when we hopped in line and the wait time was pretty accurate. We’ve noticed since reopening on July 25th that the wait times have been pretty long, so this might be a ride you want to use Genie+ for.

Hey, you look familiar

When you board the submarine, you’ll sit by one of these portholes and place your chin on the chin rest as you can see below.

Just reopened

Remember, fish are friends, NOT food.

Of course, we also can’t forget to mention the addition of Hank from Finding Dory! On top of that, we could tell that the underwater section had been touched up quite a bit — it was nice to take a ride in these submarines again.

So if you love Finding Nemo, be sure to take a ride on a submarine during your next trip to Disneyland!

For more Disneyland fun, check out the return of early entry at the resort. A new entrance also opened up this summer between Paradise Pier Hotel (which is getting an overhaul) to Disney California Adventure!

Disneyland also recently announced some of their Halloween offerings coming this year, including the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay. And if you wanted to go to Oogie Boogie Bash this year, unfortunately you’re out of luck — the event is completely sold out!

And, as always, stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news.
