Big Updates for Season 3 of Disney’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series

Disney+ is home to some truly great movies and television shows.

You’ve got original shows like Obi-Wan Kenobi, WandaVision, and The Mandalorian, plus classic Disney movies like Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast and everything in between. One of the original shows in Disney+ is High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (a mouthful, we know). The third season of the show is premiering soon, and now we have more details about guest stars in the season!

In case you haven’t heard, season three of the show takes place not in high school, but at a summer camp, Camp Shallow Lake, where “the Wildcats and their fellow campers are primed for an unforgettable summer ripe with romance, curfew-less nights, and a taste of the great outdoors.”

There, the cast will be putting on a production of Frozen and they also must deal with “a drama-filled ‘docu-series’ of the show,” as well. The cast is comprised of series regulars like Olivia Rodrigo as Nini, Joshua Bassett as Ricky, and more of the stars from the first two seasons.

We already knew that Corbin Bleu would be guest starring on the show, but now we know two more guest stars that will be joining the cast this season! First up is Jesse Tyler Ferguson (though you might know him as Uncle Mitch on Modern Family). Ferguson will be playing one of Nini’s old family friends.

Also joining the cast is JoJo Siwa! Siwa will be playing Madison, a Camp Shallow Lake alum.

Season three of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series premieres on July 27th and consists of eight episodes that will air each Wednesday until the finale. You can watch the trailer for the new season below:
