Big UPDATE on Disney’s ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’

Get ready! If you’re a fan of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, we’ve got some EXCITING news!

We already shared that HSMTMTS was confirmed for season 3, that Olivia Rodrigo would return, and that Corbin Bleu would be guest starring in the upcoming season, but now even MORE news has been revealed.

Disney has confirmed that they have ordered a 4th season for HSMTMTS! This comes just a few weeks ahead of the premiere of the 3rd season on July 27th, 2022.

So get ready for more singing, more dancing, and more drama — season 4 is on its way!

Back to season 3 for a second — season 3 will feature 8 episodes that will stream weekly on Wednesdays on Disney+.

The 3rd season is set at Camp Shallow Lake — “a sleepaway camp in California, as the Wildcats and their fellow campers are primed for an unforgettable summer ripe with romance, curfew-less nights and a taste of the great outdoors.”

But there are some high stakes with the upcoming Frozen production and “a drama-filled ‘docu-series’ of the production in the works.” How will they make it through?! We’ll have to wait and see.

Season 3 will star Joshua Bassett (“Ricky”), Sofia Wylie (“Gina”), Matt Cornett (“E.J.”), Julia Lester (“Ashlyn”), Dara Reneé (“Kourtney”), Frankie Rodriguez (“Carlos”), Saylor Bell Curda (“Maddox”) and Adrian Lyles (“Jet”).

Other actors featured this season include Aria Brooks (“Alex”), Liamani Segura (“Emmy”) and Ben Stillwell (“Channing”) as well as guest stars Corbin Bleu (himself), Meg Donnelly (“Val”), Jason Earles (“Dewey Wood”), Kate Reinders (“Miss Jenn”), Olivia Rose Keegan (“Lily”), Olivia Rodrigo (“Nini”), Larry Saperstein (“Big Red”) and Joe Serafini (“Seb”).
