ABC Executive Leaves Company After 28 Years With Disney

Some Disney fans are surprised to find out that the ABC Network is owned by Disney.

However, guests can eat at ABC Commissary in Disney’s Hollywood Studios when they visit. If you’re away from the parks, you can even make some recipes from the quick-service restaurant at home! However, recently it was announced that an executive of ABC Network will be leaving her position after 28 years.

Stephanie Leifer, who has been the head of ABC for 28 years and is one of the longest-tenured ABC executives, is leaving her post as EVP of Current Programming for ABC Signature. It’s being reported that this is a decision made by ABC Signature President Jonnie Davis, according to Deadline.


Leifer is reportedly very well-liked in the creative community and has been the predecessor of ABC Studios since 2010. Before joining the studio in 2006, Leifer worked for ABC for 12 years and began her career as a literary assistant at Writers and Artists Agency and a production associate at WGBH-TV in Boston.
