VIDEO: See the Teaser Trailer for the Upcoming Avatar Sequel!

We’ve been waiting on the first sequel to James Cameron’s Avatar for quite some time now!

The original movie debuted in 2009, becoming the highest grossing movie of all time, and lead to an entire theme park land over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Many sequels to the first film have been promised, and we FINALLY got the title of the second Avatar movie a few weeks ago. But now, we actually have a LOOK at the upcoming movie!

The title for the second Avatar movie was revealed to be Avatar: The Way of Water during CinemaCon in April. We also know the release date of the film — it will premiere in U.S. theaters on December 16th, 2022.

When the title was announced at CinemaCon, a teaser trailer also debuted, but only the people in attendance were able to see it…until now. A teaser trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water has just been released online!

Can you believe it?! After about 13 years, we finally get a look at the sequel to Avatar. It looks visually stunning, and we can’t wait to find out more about the story.
