NEWS: A BIG Shopping Perk Is FINALLY Returning to Disneyland

It’s a big day for Disneyland news!

Not only did Disney just announce an incredible transformation of the Paradise Pier Hotel that will “weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting,” but Downtown Disney will be overhauled as well. And, as part of these exciting announcements, Disney has also let us know about the return of a Disneyland Resort Hotel benefit that many guests have been missing — let’s check it out!

There’s nothing quite like picking out the perfect souvenir (or souvenirs if you’re anything like we are) to bring home from your Disney trip. But sometimes, you find that perfect item early on in your park day — and then what are you supposed to do, carry it around all day long?

Recently, that has been the only option for guests who want to shop till they drop — until now! Disneyland has announced that beginning later this summer, guests will once again be able to send select theme park purchases back to their Disney hotel.

This benefit is exclusively for guests staying in Disneyland Resort hotels and Disney has yet to announce exactly which theme park purchases qualify or when exactly this service will return, but we expect they’ll be sharing more details soon.

Disney also did not share an update on when (or if) this perk will return to Disney World anytime soon. For now, guests cannot have their purchased sent to the front of the park for pickup later in the day or to their hotel room (unless you’re staying on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser). You can still opt to have purchases shipped to your home for an additional fee though.
