These days, some of the best new movies and tv shows can be found on streaming services like Disney+, Netflix, and Hulu! Even some classic cable tv shows like Dancing with the Stars are moving exclusively to streaming platforms. In the world of television, it’s a new age, that’s for sure!

Speaking of Disney+, remember when author Rick Riordan announced a new Percy Jackson and the Olympians series was coming to Disney+? Well, we’ve got an exciting update!
The wildly popular children’s book series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, is getting its own series right on Disney+! We already knew that production would begin summer 2022, and now we know who will be playing the title role of Percy Jackson! According to Variety, the lead role will be played by Walker Scobell.

The show is expected to be a live-action adaptation of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series. The original story is about a 12-year-old boy named Percy Jackson, who happens to be a modern demigod tasked with saving Olympus. The books were packed with action, adventure, and friendship!
