MORE Celebrity Guests Announced for the 2022 Star Wars Celebration

Maybe you haven’t booked a voyage on Walt Disney World’s Galactic Starcruise  just yet, but there are still plenty of other opportunities to totally geek out if you’re a Star Wars super-fan!

The Star Wars Celebration 2022 in Anaheim will be here before we know it, and the list of celebrity guests attending just got some new additions.

Initially, it was announced that Star Wars personalities included Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine), and Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano, The Clone Wars) would be in attendance. TODAY, Star Wars Celebration announced that Obi-Wan Kenobi himself would be appearing at the event to sign autographs and take photos with fans. That’s right, Ewan McGregor has been confirmed to be attending Star Wars Celebration!

StarWars Celebration announced on Twitter two new guests that would be attending the event! Billie Lourd played Lieutenant Connix in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. She is also the daughter of Carrie Fisher, who played the iconic Leia Organa in the movies.

She will be joined by Kelly Marie Tran, who played Rose Tico in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

A few weeks ago, we go the news that three new actors would be at the event! Sam Witwer, who voiced dark-side warrior Maul in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels; Matt Lanter, who voiced Anakin Skywalker in The Clone Wars; and Katy O’Brian, who played one of Moff Gideon’s officers in several episodes of The Mandalorian are confirmed to be attending the event.

Several celebrity guests from The Mandalorian will also be there. Actors Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan Kryze in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Season 2 of The Mandalorian), Carl Weathers (Greef Karga of The Mandalorian fame), and Emily Swallow (the Armorer who appeared in Season 1 of The Mandalorian and in The Book of Boba Fett) are now confirmed to be attending the event!

In addition, the site lists Dee Bradley Baker (Star Wars: The Bad Batch’s Clone Force 99 and Captain Rex on Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Michelle Ang (Omega in Star Wars: The Bad Batch), Dickey Beer (a stunt performer in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi), and Amy Allen (Aayla Secura in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith) as guests at the event as well.

The site previously announced that actors Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian), Omid Abtahi (Doctor Pershing in The Mandalorian), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca in the sequel trilogy and Solo: A Star Wars Story), Carey Jones (Krrsantan in The Book of Boba Fett), and Daniel Logan (Boba Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: The Clone Wars) plan to make an appearance as well.

Writers of Star Wars: The High Republic including Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, Daniel José Older, Cavan Scott, and Charles Soule will be in attendance, too.

Also on hand for the event will be Margo Apostolos (Ewok Tokkat, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi), Jett Lucas (Zett Jukassa, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith), Orli Shoshan (Shaak Ti, Star Wars prequels), Kevin Thomspon (Ewok Chubbray, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi), and Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar puppeteer).
