THE STAR WARS HOTEL IS FINALLY HERE. The all-new, 2-night immersive experience is here — and we’ve been on board. Molly is taking you along on her entire journey aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser for a first look at the ship, the food, Light Saber training, and of course, the immersive experience.

This “hotel” has caused a LOT of controversy with its high price tag, so we’re digging deep into if it’s all worth the hype (and the dollars), and showing you the infamous space bunk beds and blue shrimp along the way. Consider this Star Wars Episode X: Molly’s Starcruiser Chronicles.

I too went aboard the Halycon and agree with your assessment. I remarked to my fellow travelers it felt more like a space cruise immersion than Star Wars (not enough Star Wars music for sure). I almost didn’t realize I was in Star Wars for quite a while, just a great space cruise. If you like going to Disney because the quality of the Disney entertainment, cleanliness, great food and a true escape into a happy place…then you will love this cruise.
I didn’t know what to expect. This is not a relaxing cruise. I was surprised at how much activity there was going on all the time. And how tired I was from all the walking around. I totally bought into the story.
The entertainment was awesome. Lt. Croy, Gaya, Saja, all of them are great and are what makes it special. Well, that and the food. And the atmosphere. Seemed even the cleaning crew, waiters, everyone kept the story moving in small ways. There’s a lot to like there.
The cleanliness of the ship is above normal Disney quality. People were constantly cleaning the Atrium I noticed. Maybe because the passengers are always walking around eating and drinking they needed to.
I can’t wait to go again. I don’t think you would do this many times, but for me once wasn’t enough. I know more now and could enjoy it better a second time. It’s a lot to take in for one trip.
