Currently, the closure is projected to last through 2023, though Disney hasn’t yet revealed a date for its reopening.

Toontown will be closing soon!

So, what will the extended closure bring to the fan-favorite land? Well, Mickey’s Toontown will be bigger than ever before and will feature what will be known as CenTOONial Park which includes a new fountain with water tables for kids to play in and a “dreaming tree” playset that is inspired by a tree in Walt Disney’s hometown.

Plus, the land will also feature the brand new attraction — Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway — along with the reimagination of Gadget’s Go Coaster, Goofy’s House, and Donald’s Boat.
