'American Idol' Will Return to a Special Disney Location This Season!

Ever wanted to visit Hawaii? How about a relaxing trip to Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii?

Well, some special guests will get to do just that. But they’ll have to have one very special thing to get there — some serious singing talent!

For its 20th season overall (5th season on ABC), American Idol will be returning to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii!

After their initial auditions, singers who are selected to move on to the next round will get to experience this tropical paradise while they get coached by their celebrity mentors. Not a bad deal if you ask us!

Contestants will get to explore all of the dining and recreational provided at Aulani while they prepare for continuing in the competition! So in between practice and rehearsals, they’ll be dipping in an infinity-edge pool, wading in the ocean, and noshing on Mickey-shaped shave ice!

American Idol‘s next season will premiere on February 27th at 8:00 p.m. EST and will feature returning celebrity judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and iconic host, Ryan Seacrest. Be sure to stay tuned to the show to catch those 2 episodes filmed at Aulani.
