The BEST Way to Cool Off in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is BACK!

It may be the middle of the winter, but it can still get pretty hot in Florida! And, hopping on a water ride can be a great way to cool off in Disney World.

You’ll definitely be getting wet!

While guests have been able to ride Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom for their afternoon water fix, Kali River Rapids has been closed for over a month now in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But, as of today, it is back in action!

Kali River Rapids has officially reopened in Animal Kingdom after closing for refurbishment beginning November 1st, 2021!

And, it looks like park-goers aren’t wasting any time, as the wait has ranged between 10 to 30+ minutes throughout the day.

People are happy to ride in 80-degree weather!

Of course, you’ll want to keep in mind that you will get wet on the attraction, but you MAY even get soaked. So, bring an extra pair of clothes (including socks!) with you if you walk to avoid a soggy walk around the park.

If you don’t enjoy water rides…you may want to sit this one out.
