Over the years, Disney has released a lot of very unique limited edition merchandise!
We’ve seen a wide variety of collectibles, from toys to figurines to MagicBands and even expensive accessories. Recently, shopDisney has been dropping a line of (STUNNING!) limited edition Disney Princess dolls, and today, the next one in the series is online!
This time, we have the Little Mermaid herself — Ariel! The doll was designed by Ashley Losada, who drew inspiration from the Caribbean, where she grew up.
Ariel is wearing a detailed couture gown with a sequined ruffle skirt that has a pleated tulle overlay and is adorned with Aurora Borealis finish gems in a scale pattern.
She has a mother of pearl finish beaded headdress and top…
…shoes…
…and purse (that looks like a seashell)!
Ariel’s backpiece also has a mother of pearl finish, with the tulle and pleated organza layering evoking the crash of waves. She is the perfect representation of an ocean princess!
The doll comes with a display stand and window display packaging with foil decoration and a magnetic closure. There is also a certificate of authenticity included, as there were only 10,000 of these dolls made!
