NEWS: Disney Renews International Licensing Deal For Thousands of Movies

Disney’s iconic films and stories are known in almost every household around the world. But, what you may not know is that Disney often makes deals with third-party companies to distribute these films internationally.

And, just as one of Disney’s licensing agreements was set to end, we’ve got an update that means that you’ll still be able to view these films (including new ones) across the globe!

According to Variety, Disney has renewed its international distribution deal with Park Circus, ensuring that the company will continue to have access to Disney’s large library of 1,376 films overseas through at least September 2023.

This deal also includes Fox franchises like Alien and Die Hard, as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And, thanks to the renewal, Park Circus CEO has said that they “will be a true one-stop-shop when exhibition[s] wish to screen some of the most iconic classics from cinema history thanks to the breadth and depth of films covered by this agreement.”
