Dining on a Disney Cruise Just Got a Little Easier!

Disney Cruise Line is slowly starting to get back to normal, and the new Disney Wish ship is getting ready to set sail! As Disney begins to welcome people back onto their grand cruise ships, they’ve been making a few changes here and there!

Ahoy!

Now, we’ve got another change to tell you about!

As you may know, Disney Cruise Line uses rotational dining on thier cruises, where guests visit each restaurant onboard with the same wait staff each night.

Starting now, guest dining rotations will no longer be printed on their Key To The World cards. Instead, guests can use the Disney Cruise Line (DCL) Navigator App (in the My Plans section) to view their dining information.

Disney recommends that guests should have the  DCL Navigator app open when they arrive at the restaurant so a host can show them to their seat quickly! If you have questions or can’t access the app, Disney recommends speaking with Guest Services or asking a Crew Member for assistance.

  1. I do not see this as making things easier. Now I have to carry my phone around – going on vacation should let me get away from that! It’s not like this saves carrying the card around since it’s also our room key and we’ll have it with us anyway.

    1. Couldn’t agree more. Being increasingly “tied to the phone” is one of the worst trends DCL has going, and this is just another step towards that. Having to carry my phone to dinner and show it instead of my card (which as Herb points out I need to carry anyway) certainly doesn’t make anything easier for anyone!
