It’s finally happening! The long-awaited, highly anticipated Star Wars hotel has an official opening date.
This fully immersive, highly detailed hotel will feature some iconic Star Wars friends and introduce guests to some new faces. Not only that, but the experience will also include incredible opportunities to train with a lightsaber, savor unique foods, and so much more!
We already knew that the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser was set to open in the Spring of 2022, but now we have an official opening date!
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will officially be opening on March 1st, 2022!
Guests can book a stay on the Galactic Starcruiser for 2 days and 2 nights with a planned excursion to Batuu (aka Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge) when reservations open on October 28th, 2021. The Starcruiser does not transport guests to any of the other three Walt Disney World parks.
Guests will essentially be able to choose their own adventure while onboard the Galactic Starcruiser, and can choose to become “the hero in their own Star Wars story.” (or the villain!). Those that prefer to observe rather than participate can rest assured; Disney has announced that the experience can be just as enjoyable to watch as it is to get involved in the story!
