The Halloween season is in full swing at the Disneyland Resort, with Oogie Boogie Bash taking over Disney California Adventure on select nights, plus not-so-scary decorations and treats throughout the parks and resorts.

Speaking of resorts, there are tons of ways to get into the spooky spirit outside of Disneyland and California Adventure. In addition to fun activities like Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit in Downtown Disney, there are a few special offerings happening at Disneyland’s three resort hotels.
Guests visiting Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be happy to know that Oogie Boogie has returned to the lobby! This sugary statue is made using 260 pounds of powdered sugar, 80 pounds of butter, 480 pounds of fondant, and 380 eggs! Don’t worry, you won’t find any bugs inside of him.

Nearby Oogie Boogie is the pop-up bakery cart, also returning for 2021! There, you’ll find an assortment of cookies, cupcakes, whoopie pies, and even chocolate chip shot glasses with milk!

Looking for more Halloween decor around the hotels? Head over to Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel for a special display featuring everyone’s favorite sea witch, Ursula! Her tentacles have completely taken over the lobby!

And over at the Disneyland Hotel, the main entrance now features Haunted Mansion stretching room-inspired art.

That’s not all! If you are an overnight guest at any of Disneyland’s three hotels on Sunday, October 31st, you and your family can participate in a special trick-or-treat event! This complimentary activity will include a treat map of locations, where kids can go trick-or-treating at ALL of the the hotels!

We’ll be on the lookout for more ways to celebrate Halloween this year at the Disneyland Resort, so be sure to follow along for all of the latest news and updates from the Happiest Place on Earth!
