Disney World EXTENDS Select Park Hours For the 50th Anniversary

Disney World is in the process of getting ready for the big 50th-anniversary celebration!

Hey pals!

The party kicks off in all four parks on October 1st, and Park Pass Reservations have been booked for the first few dates of the celebration for months now.  And, while Disney World had previously released their park hours for September and October, there have been a few changes made, it looks like guests will be treated to more time in the parks on select dates!

According to Disney’s park calendar, three different Disney Parks now have extended hours for the beginning of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary!

Magic Kingdom

At Magic Kingdom, the hours for October 1st through 4th have been extended from 9AM-9PM to open at 8AM and close at 10PM. Magic Kingdom will also close at 10PM on September 29th.

Just keep in mind that the park will close at 8AM on September 30th.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

At Animal Kingdom, the closing time has been extended to 8:30PM on October 1st through 4th.

Animal Kingdom typically closes at 7PM, so that gives you an extra hour and a half in the park!

EPCOT

And in EPCOT, the park will open early at 9AM on October 1st through 9th.

That’s two whole hours more to spend in EPCOT, which has been opening at 11AM.
