PHOTOS: First Look at the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Merchandise!

The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebrations are set to kick off later this year!

Disney has been hard at work preparing for the party! All four park icons will be decked out with new details and we’ve already seen some of them added to Cinderella Castle and Spaceship Earth. Plus, many Magic Kingdom rides and shops have been undergoing renovations in preparation and even the Fantasyland attractions are getting a subtle touch of gold! And, to top off all the excitement, we got a first look at all the new merchandise that will be available when the celebrations start!

Florida residents have already been able to purchase what would be considered the first collectible for the 50th anniversary — the license plate. But, there are a lot more collectibles to come for all guests and Disney fans, including t-shirts, Minnie ears, pins, and more! Let’s check them out!

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary, there will be SIX different collections that will all release at different times this fall. They include:

• The Celebration Collection (releasing early October 2021) — The Celebration Collection will include a wide-ranging assortment of commemorative merchandise for the whole family. Perfect for mixing and matching, the collection will feature accessories by Dooney and Bourke, festive headwear, coordinating mommy-and-me ensembles, fashionable t-shirts and collectable 50th anniversary character plush.
• The Disney Castle Collection (releasing early October 2021) — Drawing inspiration from the iconic Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom Park, the Disney Castle Collection will feature everything from collectibles – like ornaments and charms – to castle-inspired attire and a light-up, 50th anniversary-edition Minnie Mouse ear headband. Items in the collection are inspired by the castle’s royal, EARidescent makeover created just for the celebration.
• The Vault Collection Coming (releasing early October 2021) — Disney fans and those who love all things vintage will be eager to unlock the Vault Collection, paying tribute to 50 years of Walt Disney World magic with an assortment of retro-themed designs right out of the Walt Disney Archives. The collection includes classic opening day favorites such as the original Walt Disney World Mickey Mouse ear hat design, throwback T-shirt styles and nostalgic accessories. Additional Vault Collection items will be released throughout the 18-month long celebration.
• The EARidescent Collection (releasing late October 2021) — In line with celebratory EARidescent décor coming to Walt Disney World during the 50th anniversary celebration, the EARidescent Collection will feature a shimmering array of themed fashions and accessories.
• Limited-Time Merchandise (starting August 12th, 2021) — A special pre-celebration line of products will be available beginning Aug. 12. This must-have collection features limited-time items, perfect for guests who visit Walt Disney World Resort before the official 50th-anniversary festivities begin.
• The Luxe Logo Collection (releasing November 2021) — On the horizon is the the Luxe Logo Collection that will make its debut in November. As the name implies, this collection will offer a range of upscale pieces for the Disney collector. Details will be revealed closer to its release date in November.

The Vault Collection will include things like retro-style Mickey Ears…

…sweatshirts…

…and homeware.

And, if you’re looking for Minnie Ears, there will be a lot to choose from! One pair is part of the Disney Castle Collection…

…TWO are part of the Celebration Collection with one featuring classic Disney characters on the ears…

…and another with sparkly blue ears and a large yellow bow at the center…

…and the final pair of Minnie Ears is included in the EARidescent Collection!

Of course, there will also be plenty of accessories to choose from like the 50th Anniversary Soap Dispenser…

…new Loungefly backpacks…

…and even a special Dooney & Bourke collection!

For those who want to pick up some new styles, there will be a 50th Anniversary Spirit Jersey…

…a variety of tees, sweatshirts, and pants…

…and even a new princess dress to match Minnie Mouse’s new 50th Anniversary look!

And, it wouldn’t be a Disney celebration without a new Mickey Ears Hat, right?

All of these items and MORE will be available at all four theme parks and in Disney Springs when they are released and select items will be available at Disney Resorts hotels and on shopDisney.
