The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary kicks off in just TWO months!
During the 18-month long celebration, Disney-goers will get to experience a new character cavalcade (with the characters dressed up in NEW costumes), watch TWO new fireworks shows in the parks, check out all four park icons lit up at night like never before, and much more. And, if you’re hoping to bring home a souvenir to commemorate the anniversary, we’ve finally got a sneak peek at the merchandise!
Today, Disney shared a first look at the new merchandise collection coming to the Disney Parks for the 50th Anniversary and now Disney fans can start guessing what will be featured!
The first is a close-up image of what looks like Cinderella Castle with the 50th Anniversary logo front and center.
Next, is a picture of a Mickey Icon attached to something and those who have recently visited the parks might even recognize it!
It looks a lot like the Foaming Hand Soap Dispenser that was originally spotted at Tokyo Disneyland and recently made its way to Disney World. So, could we be getting a new design for the popular item?
Disney also shared a close-up image of what looks like a plate or a coaster with Cinderella Castle and the retro Disney World logo on the front.
And, last but not least is a picture of a new item that many guests can probably guess — a Mickey Ears Hat! It looks like the hat itself will be a navy blue color and the ears themselves will sparkle with Disney’s signature “EARidescent” color.
And, we won’t have to wait much longer to see if our guesses are correct because Disney will be sharing more details about the new collection this Friday, August 6th! Of course, we’ll be sure to bring you a look at the entire collection as soon as it’s available, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
