COVID-19 cases are rising in Florida, and the CDC recently recommended that people return to wearing masks indoors in high risk spaces.

While New York City is requiring proof of vaccination for many indoor spaces, private companies have also begun adopting new vaccination policies, and today President Joe Biden shared his thoughts about these changes.
Deadline has reported that President Joe Biden thanked The Walt Disney Company as well as Netflix, Fox, Walmart, Google, and Tyson Foods for their updated employee vaccination policies requiring that employees be vaccinated. Disney recently announced that Cast Members must be fully vaccinated in order to work at Disney.

President Biden expressed hope that vaccination rates are growing, but remarked that the current rise of COVID-19 cases is a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” Biden called COVID cases a “preventable tragedy” and praised the major corporations that have instituted company-wide vaccine requirements: “I will have their backs.”

So, vaccine companies are immune from being sued and now Biden will have the backs of companies who require COVID vaccination. Who is to be held liable WHEN there are negative side effects (including death, it has happened) caused by the vaccines?
I am not anti-vaccine, but I don’t think they should be mandated unless it can be guaranteed that there will be no side effects or negative consequences and the vaccine manufactures can be sued if there are.
