Disney Recipe: Learn How to Make Challah With Kronk from ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’

Every once in a while, Disney shares fun recipes the family can make together, featuring some of our favorite characters! Recent recipes have included the tasty Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich from ABC Commissary, along with tons of recipes you can find in the new limited-edition Delish magazine.

The latest recipe we’ve found, shared this week on Twitter, features everyone’s favorite henchmen, Kronk! Today, we’ll learn how to make Challah.

Challah is a ceremonial bread often served during Jewish holidays and religious occasions such as Sabbath.

You may recognize Challah from it’s traditional braided appearance, though you can design it in different ways depending on the occasion or the specific cultural group baking the bread.

Let’s dive right in and see how Kronk wrote out his recipe. Here are all the ingredients you’ll need!

You’ll get started by making your dough.

The dough will need water, yeast, flour, sugar, salt, eggs, and oil.

Then, you let your dough rise!

Once your dough has risen, you’ll divide it into three equal pieces and begin to braid them together.

Then you cover your braided bread with an egg wash and bake in a 350 degree-oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
