The iconic Matterhorn Bobsleds ride has been closed in Disneyland since the park closure in March 2020.
Disneyland reopened to guests in April 2021 but the Matterhorn remained closed. Today we have exciting news — Matterhorn Bobsleds is open!
We found the Matterhorn Bobsleds once again open for guests, with no wall surrounding the mountain. Located between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, the Matterhorn has been a Disneyland ride since 1959.
There was a lot of excitement for this iconic Disneyland ride to be reopened!
The wait at the time of our visit was 55 minutes.
Every row is being loaded, with three people in single file per vehicle. This steel rollercoaster was inspired by an actual mountain in the Swiss Alps, with two parallel coaster tracks.
