We love the immersive experience at Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney makes it so easy to believe that we’re visiting an alien planet where we get to ride on the back of a gigantic creature called a Banshee, or seeing an Avatar shaman doing his thing.
But there will soon be a way for us to visit the world of Pandora at home in a new and interactive way. According to today’s E3 Expo (which is a massive video game industry conference held every year), video game developer Ubisoft revealed a trailer for a new game based on Avatar. The game is called Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and it looks gorgeous! Check out the trailer below:
Ubisoft did not reveal many details about the game, but stated that the player’s goal would be to drive off the militaristic RDA forces that threaten the planet. The game will feature an open world, which will allow players to fully explore the world created in the Avatar movie, which is the highest-grossing movie of all time. Expect it to release in 2022 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, and Luna.
