NEWS: Universal Orlando Raises Starting Pay to $15 An Hour

Here at AllEars, we’re incredibly grateful for theme park employees!

Be nice to the Team Members, they work hard!

They work long hours in ridiculous weather and surrounded by crowds of people — all with smiles on their faces. They went through quite a rough year in 2020 with the parks being closed, but it seems that things are starting to look up, with many jobs being called back to work. And for those working at Universal Orlando, the pay rate is about to go up!

Universal Orlando has announced that effective June 27th, the starting base rate for all team members will be increased to $15 an hour, up from $13 an hour. This is the largest wage increase in Universal Orlando history.

While $15 is the starting rate, the company is increasing rates for many other various roles around the resort based on job requirements. These new rates will impact full-time hourly positions, part-time hourly positions, and entry-level salaried roles.
