In case you missed it, Disneyland has officially reopened! And we were there, living our best life and reliving some of our favorite memories while walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and staring at Sleeping Beauty Castle.
And it was SO good to be back!!! But what does Disneyland look like on its reopening day to capacity? We’ve got some photos to show you!
Entrance
MANY people were super excited to enter Disneyland today as the line stretched all the way along the tram route prior to the parks’ official reopening time at 9 AM. Despite being there an hour early, we were put into one of multiple lines that were accommodating guests.
The queue on the left-hand side was here earlier, so it was the first one to be allowed into the park. Then, Cast Members helped the traffic flow as it allowed the line on the right-hand side to enter next.
While we were waiting, the queue to the right side then split into two lines, creating three queues that all led into the parks. Even though the parks opened at 9 AM, Disneyland started letting people inside around 8:10 AM.
The lines moved pretty quickly as we neared the entrance (and we definitely couldn’t help getting emotional).
Once we were inside the gates, there were quite a few people ready to explore their favorite restaurants, stores and attractions as they walked down Main Street, U.S.A.
Fantasyland was a popular spot for many families…
…as rides like Peter Pan’s Flight quickly gained a 20 minute following prior to Disneyland’s official opening on the park schedule.
Another popular attraction was Rise of the Resistance now that the popular ride finally brought travelers back from around the galaxy.
So, now you know what a reopened Disneyland looks like right now with California residents as the only visitors allowed. However, the parks could be opening up to out-of-state guests sometime soon! And stay tuned because we’re covering everything about Disneyland’s grand reopening!
