But, if you can’t wait for more Marvel entertainment, you’ll be surprised to hear that your favorite superheroes will return in a SPORTS game!

Deadline has reported that ESPN and Marvel will be teaming together for an unexpected crossover on May 3rd. During the NBA game between the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans, Disney will add a bit of Marvel magic to the games televised on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+. The flagship ESPN network will show the regular game on its own.

Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Captain America, Black Widow and Doctor Strange are some of the characters that will be featured during the game through “3D technology, custom graphics, and animation packages.”

But, that’s not the best part! The game is then interactive — viewers can collect “Marvel Hero Points” based on certain NBA players’ performances. Three players from each team will represent Marvel. The Warriors will have Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins, while the Pelicans will have Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and Lonzo Ball.
